On September 2, 2023, the first Intermarium Institute debate was held at the headquarters and on Radio Gdańsk. The main topic of the debate was the region’s role in creating the Intermarium community. Participants included:

• Professor Piotr Grochmalski – security analyst from the War Studies University
• Professor Zbigniew Krysiak from the Schumann Institute of Thought
• Łukasz Malinowski – President of the Port of Gdańsk
• Professor Grzegorz Górski from the Jagiellonian University

One of the main themes of the debate was the direction prepared for research and studies by the Intermarium Institute: building European potential by restoring and expanding infrastructure in all dimensions: economic, logistical, and intellectual, including the north-south corridor, defined as an ambitious project and an opportunity for the future of Europe, the country, and Polish seaports. The north-south axis of states forming the Intermarium area may become a serious alternative to economic development, and this opportunity and important process were discussed during a debate on Radio Gdańsk.
