Representatives of the Intermarium Institute Foundation and the Foundation for the Promotion of Solidarity signed a letter of intent today in Gdańsk, expressing their willingness to establish cooperation and its direction.

On behalf of the Intermarium Institute Foundation, the letter was signed by President Aleksandra Jankowska. On behalf of the Foundation for the Promotion of Solidarity, the letter was signed by President Wojciech Kwidzyński and Board Member Michał Ossowski.

The parties declared that they would cooperate to promote the history and heritage of the NSZZ “Solidarity” trade union and the idea of interpersonal solidarity. Both foundations also committed to promoting cooperation between nations, particularly the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

The parties will jointly organize events such as debates, international meetings, congresses, and conferences, and will also establish partnerships on publishing projects.

“I hope that with each day of our joint work, we will develop the idea of mutual solidarity, because what unites both foundations is precisely solidarity, the interpersonal kind that is so familiar to us Poles, but also interstate solidarity. This alliance of states gives Poland great strength, but also gives strength to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe,” said Aleksandra Jankowska, President of the Intermarium Institute Foundation.
