THE INTERMARIUM INSTITUTE AT THE 3SI BUSINESS FORUM IN DUBROVNIK

On April 28th–29th, 2026, the Three Seas Initiative Summit and Business Forum took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Both events brought together over 1,500 guests from 41 countries – politicians, experts, and representatives from the worlds of academia, the economy and business. The Polish delegation was the second largest after the Croatian one.

On the second day of the Three Seas Initiative Business Forum, the Intermarium Institute, in collaboration with the Croatian Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), organised a debate entitled „Ten Years of the Three Seas Initiative from the Croatian and Polish Perspectives: Achievements and Future Development”. The discussion was moderated by Krševan Antun Dujmović from IRMO, and participants included:

  • Ivica Jakić (energy expert and director at Hydrongen Croatia)
  • Liliana Śmiech (Warsaw Institute, Ludovika University of Public Service)
  • Sandra Baniak-Stachowiak (Centre for Eastern Studies)
  • Prof. Przemysław Żurawski vel Grajewski (University of Łódź, Council for Security and Defence under the President of the Republic of Poland)
  • Adam Chmielecki PhD (Intermarium Institute, Foundation for Promotion the Solidarity)

During the discussion, the political and business development of the Three Seas Initiative was highlighted; energy issues were discussed, as was the role of Baltic and Adriatic ports as the northern and southern „gateways to the Three Seas region; and potential risks and opportunities for the further development of the Three Seas Initiative were identified.
